Do you struggle with perfectionism? Does your inner critic whisper or scream, “I am not enough. I’m not smart enough, pretty/handsome enough, sophisticated enough…”? Do you constantly compare yourself to others? If your answer is yes, you are like many of us who suffer from the debilitating effects of “shame.” Shame is a powerful emotion which is embedded in fear and is at the heart of the belief that I am unworthy, unlovable, and undeserving of care and belonging. Please come and join us as we learn together how to quiet our inner critic, embrace our imperfections, and own our birthright of worthiness.

ABOUT THE DARING WAY™
The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown Ph.D, LMSW, a research professor at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work. We will explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. Participants are invited to examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding them back and identify the new choices and practices that will move them toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, and lead.
